One Elephant One World One Story

What would you do if one day you heard a noise coming from inside a dust on top of your not so clean keyboard while you were reading this review? It turns out that there were living being inside it, and I mean a whole community of er “people” really lived inside it.

That was basically happened to Horton, the Elephant, who struggles to protect a microscopic city called Who-ville, inside a speck of dust. To make things worse, his neighbors refuses to believe it exists, and plan to eliminate the speck.

Encik Ryunosuke: “This is the best Dr Seuss' movie translation ever! Well, I never read the book but obviously it was way better than The Cat in the Hat and the same if not better than The Grinch. The characters have that Dr Seuss’ feels which is recognizable, in addition there are some cartoon-ish animation slotted inside which makes it interesting enough. The 3d was way realistic especially in the beginning but the characters make it not too serious. It was really funny and apparently I really laugh a lot, but most of the funny part was inside the conversation which most people don’t really get it. As for me, I’ve watched too many trailers & previews make it less funny since I already knew the lines. All in all, the story was great. It taught us to be kind to people, whoever they are. As Horton says it best, "a person's a person, no matter how small".”

Marina: “The cinema was too cold and my attention span was decreasing throughout Horton's journey. But it was funny and sometimes weird, and I love it!”

Have a mindlessly good adventure. Watch it, laugh out loud and burst your heart out!
