One Elephant One World One Story

What would you do if one day you heard a noise coming from inside a dust on top of your not so clean keyboard while you were reading this review? It turns out that there were living being inside it, and I mean a whole community of er “people” really lived inside it.

That was basically happened to Horton, the Elephant, who struggles to protect a microscopic city called Who-ville, inside a speck of dust. To make things worse, his neighbors refuses to believe it exists, and plan to eliminate the speck.

Encik Ryunosuke: “This is the best Dr Seuss' movie translation ever! Well, I never read the book but obviously it was way better than The Cat in the Hat and the same if not better than The Grinch. The characters have that Dr Seuss’ feels which is recognizable, in addition there are some cartoon-ish animation slotted inside which makes it interesting enough. The 3d was way realistic especially in the beginning but the characters make it not too serious. It was really funny and apparently I really laugh a lot, but most of the funny part was inside the conversation which most people don’t really get it. As for me, I’ve watched too many trailers & previews make it less funny since I already knew the lines. All in all, the story was great. It taught us to be kind to people, whoever they are. As Horton says it best, "a person's a person, no matter how small".”

Marina: “The cinema was too cold and my attention span was decreasing throughout Horton's journey. But it was funny and sometimes weird, and I love it!”

Have a mindlessly good adventure. Watch it, laugh out loud and burst your heart out!

..Their World Is Closer Than You Think

The Spiderwick Chronicles is a magical children fantasy adventure story where twin brothers Jared and Simon Grace, along with their sister Mallory, find themselves pulled into an alternate world full of faeries, goblins and other creatures, upon moving into the run-down Spiderwick Estate with their mother.

It was all because of the entire secret of the "other world" was revealed inside the book written by Arthur Spiderwick, the twin’s great-great-uncle, which he experience himself. Far that he knows, a shape-shifting ogre named Mulgurath desires the book for supreme power.

Encik Ryunosuke: “As a child, I really love the movie. And I mean, really, really love it! There's a whole new world and numerous unique creatures were revealed inside it. They say it’s different from the book, which they usually are. Nevertheless, the storyline were good – not too fast, not too slow, the special effects were realistically believable, the character was perfectly developed and the ending was brilliant! Simple enough to be unexpectedly brilliant! However, as an adult I might not like it because of lack of “action”, but obviously I prefer to be a child.”

Marina: “In the beginning I was easily “astound” when one-by-one a new creatures revealed inside the hidden world. I was scared if it were ugly ghost-like monster appear, which until the middle of the movie, I am certain that it was definitely a children fantasy movie. In the end, I enjoyed it but not so sure I am satisfied with the ending..”

Go watch The Spiderwick Chronicles with your family. They will definitely enjoy the movie!
